an ode to Daft punk

One of the most popular mainstream "electronic" artists out there today in my opinion would hands down have to be Daft Punk. These guys through together some of the best beats that makes their fans go crazy. Over the years i've been involved with KSJS my appreciation for them has grown and grown. On my four hour radio show i play them at least once maybe twice and hour if i'm fellin' frisky!! I wasn't until recently that i realized that i have never seen one of their music videos. so i went where else but the trusty youtube! not only did i seen most of their music videos but i found some videos made but spme people that have a little to much time on their hands!! but i still love the videos!! take a watch and fall in love with the artist known as DAFT PUNK!!

More stand up

So recently i talked about stand up and how my new favorite stand up comedien is Brian regan. Well i shared the video i posted with my aunt and she decided to show my her favorite stand up tid bit and so i have decided to share it with you. planning a party

I have never really been one to plan a party im usually the one to attend parties and drink all the alcohol i can. Well now the tables have turned and my famoly and i have hostin a praty for 60 plus heads, and let me tell you we are going crazy. If it's not getting all the stuff we want that kills us it will be each other. We all have different opinions about what should go where and what to we need and what should we do this when we can just do this. AHHHH I seriously want to pull my hair out. i just hope that when it comes time to party that i can actually party and enjoy myself. So my advise to everyone out there that is our that is thinking about planning a pary DON'T just hire someone who does it for a living, and you may be thinking but its so much money but i promise you the stress that you won't be dealing with is 100% worth it

A waste of time and money

Through out this semester I have expressed my anger towards this class. A class that I signed up for thinking that I was going to learn how to make a website. Well I guess the jokes on me because that would mean the the "professor" (and I use those quotes lightly) would actually know how to teach us or the new programs that goes along with making a website. No instead he pushes all the website stuff onto or poor TA, that girl has to put up with all the stupid shit that the "Prof" doesn't want to deal with. It turns out all that shit that he doesn't want to deal with was shit relevant to making a website. Instead of teaching website building techniques he decides to make a commercial. A fucking commercial with all the students doing some different aspect. I know you thinking to yourself, well that makes sense, and it does but remember it s a web design class and because his actual pruduction class got canceled (yeah that says a lot) he thought it would be a good idea to through all of that class into ours. So I ask this question does it make sense to make a web design class into a production class with over half of the students in it are web design majors. Yeah I didn't think so either. My favorite thing out of all this BS is that half way through the semester he gave us the option to either make the website (but of course he wasn't going to teach us we had to figure it out ourselves) or work on the production team making a commercial. So most of the class has figured out how to design a website, and the people on the production team for the commercial aren't even on our class. If I had to guess I would say that maybe three, four tops are in the web design class and on top of that the shooting for the commercial doesn't even start until the class is long over with. Luckily I have a friend who knows all about web design and she really saved my ass with this class. This class that was a waste of my time and money. I plan on talking with the dean of the department and doing whatever I can to ensure that this man doesn't teach anymore, and if he does then make sure he know what he's doing. Be organized, have a syllabus, due dates, and most of all DO NOT say one thing one week then change you mind the next week, people cannot get any work done when you do that. Oh and if the description of the class says web design make sure that what you teach them.

The past seven weeks

This is just a quick vent about the past seven weeks of my life. In the past seven week i got to sleep in three time, three times did i decide not to set my alarm clock and actually rest. The other 41 days consisted of my waking up at either 4 in the am or 7. I was going seven day a week , between two internships (one being the reason i had to wake up at 4am) full school schedule, managing a department at the college radio station, of and lets not forget work. Never have the next words meant so much to me I NEED A VACATION. Of course I am the only one to blame because i waited o long before getting all my shit together but hey i survived and now i am about to graduate college and will never have to write a paper, participate in a group project, teach myself how to make my own website because the "prof: (i you want to call him that) decided to make the course a production as opposed to actually teaching us, (I'm sorry to go off thats a different blog!!) EVER EVER AGAIN!! and i could not be more excited. Excited to sleep finally oh and lets not forget drink i get to see my family oh and my friends again. One more day and im a free BITCH bitches!

Stand UP!!

This is an ode to stand up comedy. I have been a fan of stand up for many years now, i watch it all, i knew about Dane Cook long before the rest of the world did. And if your thinking to yourself everybody says that, well i ask you this do you know what the acidy spit is? if not you tube it and you will see a whole different side of Dane we just don't see any more. Aside from Mr.Cook Mitch Hedgberg (may he rest in peice) is one of the funniest guys there was, and i also am for frilly toothpicks!! Unfortunatly it had been some time since i have been introduced to any new comics. Now of course i don't know if this guys is new but man is he funny. His Name is Brian Reegan, and if you have ever played little league base ball you will live this video clip. Of course this isn't actually Brian it's someone with way to much time on their hands and decided to draw it out in stick figures but its awesome take a looksy
